Friends, run don’t walk to Cantina Louie in Matthews! It’s a new location and the food is absolutely amazing!! You’ll start off with chips and a ton of delicious salsa’s and then I highly recommend the crispy avocado roll (if you’re an avocado lover like me) and the mango salsa calamari which was some of the best calamari I’ve ever had! They do something special to it and the salsa compliments the calamari so well!!
We then each ordered something different, the chimichanga, two different tacos, the California burrito and the west coast burrito! Everyone loved their meals, mine was the California burrito which I highly recommend. Ask for extra queso because that stuff is basically addicting!
We also ordered the Mule’s and Guavarita for drinks, I liked the Guavarita the best because anything with fresh lime juice, I’m in and excited about it! They offer plenty of cocktails with fresh lime juice and have so many specials, one for every day of the week!
