Located in the heart of Central Austin at 2701 Perseverance Drive, near W. 45th at Bull Creek at The Grove, Verdad boasts a convenient and accessible location. For those driving, the restaurant offers free garage parking, and there's also the option of valet parking for $8.

The ambiance at Verdad is both modern and inviting, with a dedicated homage to agave, the heart of Mexican spirits. The restaurant features an Agave Wall and an Agave Table, offering a communal but semi-private experience. Here, guests can indulge in agave tasting experiences, with options including 10 different tasting combinations featuring three one-ounce pairs of either tequila or mezcal. These tastings range from $29 to $89 per person and conclude with a specially crafted sorbet to cleanse the palate.

Signature drinks include the Margarita Al Centro, infused with a handcrafted sorbet, and available in a variety of flavors. The Reserve MexiCal, featuring mezcal topped with Perry’s Reserve Cabernet, and the Loco Carajillo, a mix of tequila, Licor 43, and Nixta Licor de Elote, are other standout choices. Additionally, the bar offers a selection of Perry’s reserve wines and a curated wine and sparkling list. For those visiting during happy hour, there are discounts on starters, Verdad pours of wines by the glass, cocktails, and beers.

When it comes to food, Verdad's menu seamlessly blends the past and present of Mexican cuisine. Starters include options like Pinto Bean Hummus, Pork Spare Rib Barbacoa, and Hamachi Ceviche. For the main course, signature dishes such as the Oaxacan Filet, Garlic Shrimp Fideo, Smoked Steak Relleno, and the Verdad Fiesta Board For 4 are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The sides and desserts, such as Yuca Mash, Corn Souffle Cake, Seis Leches, and Sorbet with a Mezcal Floater, add the perfect finishing touches to the meal.


We feasted on the queso, filet mignon tacos, and lobster quesadillas! We were so full that we couldn't order an entree!




Verdad is open for dinner service daily, with the bar staying open until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. This new culinary gem in Austin promises a memorable dining experience, combining authentic flavors, modern twists, and a vibrant atmosphere.
