As a lifelong Lake Norman gal (born and raised in Mooresville, NC), I absolutely love our little spot on the map. I can still remember when Brawley School Road was 2 lanes, the Pointe was called Meck Neck (and was in Mecklenburg County!), and City Kids vs. County Kids was quite the rivalry.
I can only imagine moving here can feel a bit different though. It's harder to get to know people especially when a lot of us grew up together.
