"Learning To Be The Best Version of Yourself" July Recap

What an INCREDIBLE night! This intimate venue was just what the doctor ordered! The Wine Room was a partner every step of the way between answering questions, accommodating us, and making us feel welcome! Everything went so smoothly!

I watched women connect from the moment they walked in the door. I shared in their laughter, smiles, and excitement for what's to come! I watched our vendors get to know one another, cheer each other on, and just be real!

We had amazing food and wine options! Where I missed out on eating last event, I tried ALL the things this time and couldn't have been happier; both with the products and how happy our vendors were with their success. Jac's Snacks provided an amazing Charcuterie Bar that was a huge hit....

...and Sue's Crepes offered the best unique and tasty crepes! Literally, the best crepe I've had... aso much so I had TWO! They even offered up another giveaway for our guests just like our previous event. We LOVE repeat businesses!

My girl, Marcela, with Keeps Photobooth, blessed us with her business presence once again and honored the spot of first repeat vendor. As usual, guests and participants loved her and how fun her digital photobooth was and it had PROPS!

Then our leading lady of the night, Erin Harrel, PhD., Old Florida Dream Team Realtor and Co-owner (she speaks so HIGHLY of her team), beautifully commanded the 'stage' and captivated our audience with her humor, sincerity, and honesty.

She shared with us actionable steps to being the best version of ourselves, not to keep waiting for tomorrow to go after your purpose, and how she really might be a cat with 9 lives with how often she has looked death in the eye and said 'not today'.

She shared her strong will and determination and her love for her family and her 'kids'.

That's how she refers to the children she has fostered and now the foster/homeless teens she represents with the charity she co-founded, OFDT Foundation.

The OFDT Foundation was the Featured Charity for our event. “Helping Underserved Youth Build the Community of Tomorrow” is the incredible mission behind this organization.

“The OFDT Foundation was formed on the core principle of supporting middle and high school homeless and foster children… Building a Brighter Tomorrow.”

As a community of women, we are daughters, sisters, and mothers. Thinking about children feeling alone, forgotten, or in need… bright children with futures that may feel out of reach just because they don’t have access to the right resources and basic necessities AND they are in our backyard! That should move our feet!

Our Event Sponsor, Face It Botox Bar (Fibb), is also a big part of this foundation. Their owner, Ryann Levenia, who shared her love of the OFDT Foundation, in which she is a board member, her adoration for a loyal friend like Erin Harrel, and the incredible EXPANDING business she has created with the support of her team.

Fibb will be opening their THIRD location this year! Every one of her team members and the OFDT members at the event, had to be some of the happiest and nicest people you'll meet. They gifted giveaways to two lucky guests, supplied our physical Swag Bags, AND some great gifts inside! We are so thankful for Fibb's support that night and what they are doing with LLN-SWFL! We'll be working with them again in the future for sure!

I also have to say a huge thank you to our other Swag Bags participants as well! Lavender Layne, a repeat favorite, created some fresh, homemade, bath salts for our friends and we had a Nik Naks Sweet Snak's coming in with her edible business cards! Yes, I said that right! To her point, you are more likely to remember a business when you can eat it and I have to say they were definitely a hit and memorable!

I'm so thankful for every woman that played a part in this incredible event. Each and every one of you are truly something special and I honored to have met you all!

I can't wait to see you at our next event!

Make sure you get your tickets for August 29th at Chocolattés, 5:30p-8p for "Empowerment Through Adversity" with Monica Nagy!
