Hello, wonderful community! My name is Allie Reid, and I am the proud owner and licensed massage and bodywork therapist at Reid Massage & Wellness. Since founding my business in 2018 in Glenville, NY, I have been on a mission to transform the massage therapy experience into one where every client feels genuinely heard and cared for.
From Spa Settings to Personal Healing Space
After years working in spa environments where clients often felt overlooked or their needs were not fully addressed, I realized that the conventional approach to massage therapy was missing a crucial element: a true connection and honest communication between therapist and client. It became clear that what people needed most was a space where they felt seen and where their individual healing journey could be nurtured with care.
This realization was the catalyst for launching Reid Massage & Wellness. My goal was simple but profound: to create a safe space where healing is not just a service but an experience—a place where every woman can come to feel heard, supported, and rejuvenated in a world where women are being passed over, told their pain is in their head or just from being “too stressed”.
A New Chapter in Plaza Midwood: Women's Health and Womb Therapy
As of now, Reid Massage & Wellness has relocated to the vibrant Plaza Midwood area, where we have expanded our focus to specialize in women’s health and womb therapy techniques. Our practice now embodies a holistic approach to wellness, blending traditional massage techniques with specialized modalities designed to address the unique needs of women.
