Did you always want to be in or see yourself as a business owner & being your

own boss?


Before founding ADMK, I worked at a fast-paced, creatively rich company where I wore

many hats—leading advertising and graphic design for major contracts like the Olympic

Sponsorship Program, Salesforce, and Homebuilders. It was an incredible crash course

in small business and big-brand storytelling. But after having my third child, I knew I

needed a path that aligned with a more grounded lifestyle—without compromising my

need for a creative outlet.


While pregnant with my 3rd child, I dove into jewelry design purely out of passion. What

started as a personal project quickly turned into something bigger. I set quiet milestones

to see if this dream had legs:

✔ Land my first boutique

✔ Grow into multiple boutiques

✔ Build a website and attract real customers

✔ Earn national and international recognition in Vogue, Lucky, Redbook, and more.


And here we are. ADMK was built from love, grit, and an obsession with timeless,

How do you balance being an entrepreneur and having a personal/family/social

life? What does that look like for you and any tips for our readers?


In the early years, ADMK was built during nap times and late nights. As a mom, I craved

a professional and creative outlet—and this brand became just that. Building a dream

business was a challenge on most days. But I loved every minute. Now that my kids

are grown, I finally have the time and space to fully step into the vision I’ve always had

for ADMK.


What is the part about your business that lights you up the most?


What lights me up the most is a mix of moments that remind me why I do this. I’ve never

considered myself a natural salesperson, so landing a new boutique feels like a huge

personal win every time—it pushes me out of my comfort zone and shows how far I’ve

come. Press is another part that excites me; every feature has felt like a milestone that

elevated ADMK and validated the heart I’ve poured into the brand. But truly, nothing

compares to hearing from customers who genuinely love their pieces. One woman once

told me, ‘I’m the president of your fan club’—and moments like that make all the hard

work worth it.


Do you have any advice/tips for women wanting to start their own business & go after their dreams?

Go for it—just start. No dream is too small, and no business is just a ‘small business.’

The growth, the lessons, and the people you meet along the way make the entire

journey worthwhile. One thing I’ll say: be ready to thicken your skin. When your heart is

in your work, the setbacks can sting. But if you stay true to your vision and keep

showing up, it’s all worth it.

Do you have a favorite line or piece of jewelry & why?


I’ve been building ADMK for a long time, and yet I still get giddy over every finished

piece. The beauty of the stones, the design process — none of it gets old. It’s hard to

choose a favorite, but I have a special love for Quartz and Chalcedony. I’m actually a

minimalist when it comes to wearing jewelry myself—mainly because as soon as I make

something, it goes straight into tagging, pricing, and photographing loop. Honestly, I’d

love to keep them all! But the real joy for me is seeing someone else fall in love with a

piece. That’s what keeps me creating.
